Match Madness, also known as the Spooky Event (J-smerl) is a nighttime match play tournament at Flushing Meadow Pitch n Putt, held shortly before the Stratton Classic. This fast-paced event features head-to-head battles under the lights, sharpening players’ skills and fueling rivalries ahead of the league’s biggest showdown.

Rules: Match Madness is a 16 man match play tournament, seeded based off current league individual standings. Each match will be played over 9 holes. To start, individuals will agree to number of strokes per hole (up to 1 stroke per hole) based upon handicaps. Normal match play rules apply, give-me's may be given only by your opponent. If not in the final, upon a draw replay the previous hole in a playoff, no strokes given, closest to the pin applies. If in the finals and a draw, closest to the pin only applies on the third playoff.
